Hatirjheel, one of Dhaka’s most scenic urban neighborhoods, recently welcomed a stunning residential interior makeover that blends elegance, comfort, and functionality. Spearheaded by Deft Decor, this project was crafted for Md. Kausar Ahmed, a homeowner with a vision for a personalized living space that reflects both style and serenity.

Every corner of the home was thoughtfully curated to balance aesthetics and practicality. Key features include:

Dinner Wagon: A sleek, modern unit designed for both display and storage, finished with high-pressure laminate (HPL) for durability.
Master Bedroom: A cozy retreat with warm lighting, layered textures, and custom-built furniture using Gorjon plyboard.
Child’s Bedroom: A playful yet organized space with vibrant accents and ergonomic design.
Lighting Scheme: A mix of spotlights and T5 lighting creates ambiance while enhancing functionality.
Modern Bathroom: A spa-inspired sanctuary featuring matte black fixtures, a floating vanity with under-cabinet lighting, and a frameless glass shower enclosure. The walls are clad in large-format porcelain tiles for a sleek, seamless look, while a backlit mirror adds a touch of luxury.

Materials & Techniques

Gorjon Plyboard: Known for its strength and smooth finish, used extensively in cabinetry and furniture.
